We are perfectly situated just southwest of Springfield MO and Northwest of Branson MO. Located in the beautiful James River Valley between Nixa and Clever MO.
Course
Hidden Valley is an 18 hole golf course that has Bermuda grass fairways and tee boxes with bent grass greens. The total yardage varies from the forward tees of 4459 yds, to the back tees being 6671 yds. The course is enjoyable for novice players and the back tees present challenges for skilled players with water coming into play on 15 holes.
Pro-Shop
The Pro-Shop is stocked with variety of merchandise along with snacks and drinks for purchase. Beer is also available and needs to be bought at course.
History
Hidden Valley first opened in 1973, the current ownership has been in place since 1988. Managing Partner Rob Alberty implemented the many improvements over the years to get it to its current condition, unfortunately we lost Rob in August of 2021. There are several buildings on the course that remain from when it was a farm notably the old barn between #10 and #18 fairways, it now houses member carts. The Pro-shop built around 1920 intially was a feed store, when you come in you may notice the metal bars on the windows of the building. The story goes as Rob Alberty would tell that the owner of the farm in the 1930s was an Uncle to Charles Arthur Floyd, better known as bank robber Pretty Boy Floyd, rumor has it that Floyd would come to his Uncles property to hide out from time to time. When he showed up, his uncle would gather up the employees and lock them in the building until he was gone.
